Dance Shul is a gathering for Portland’s Jewish community(ies) where we can dance, listen to music and relax.
While this is a free event, we will be collecting donations to help defray the cost of security and to pay our wonderful live musicians.
There will be a security guard at the door.
There will be some live music and also curated playlists (I’m taking suggestions for the playlist! Jewish themed music, or songs in Hebrew or Yiddish are a priority, but other music is good, too!)
YES: bare feet, socks or non-marking shoes
YES: leave our differences at the door
YES: all genders, and all bodies are welcome
YES: comfy clothes that you can move in
NO: mind-altering substances, alcohol or drugs before or during the event
